NGO Capacity Building Project

NGO Capacity Building Project

We have added a special Administration and Organization’s Capacity Building Program where volunteers with skills in administration and office management will now be placed to work with the IVN management team in the office to help with the IVN administration work.

Depending on the specific placement in the administration, the volunteer may design and implement a project, prepare and write grant documents, research issues and prepare reports, communicate with donors and supporters, or assist with promotional work for fundraising or community outreach events, as well as some administrative support work. The volunteers on the IVN management team will be required to sign up for a minimum service commitment of three months. Below are some of the administration work in which the volunteer can participate in.

  • Office Administration
  • Financial Management & Planning
  • Organizational Accounting
  • Fundraising & Grant Writing (Local & International)
  • Volunteer Coordination & Recruitment
  • Marketing & Publicity
  • Public Relations & Community Outreach
  • Logistical Support
  • Project Coordination

No specific qualifications or previous experience is required to join the NGO Capacity Building Project. However, volunteers with Administration skills or profession are highly preferred. Participants should bring both enthusiasm and humility to their projects. Volunteers are expected to be independent and creative, bring ideas to the table, be respectful to organization leadership and work collaboratively.
